I met Jay the typical New York way: a friend's cousin's wife's friend or some person whose relationship to me is so-complicated-I-don't-even-remember introduced us because we both have blogs about love. Now we're direct friends and I'm glad because he's smart, creative, single (and tall!), sweet, and like CJ and I, looking for love - REAL LOVE. We popped over to his place in March and let the conversation flow from "bad math" dating, apps even I never heard of, to maybe it's time to leave NYC forever.
How did you meet? I took an improv class with the organizer's husband
Height: various, I was one of the tallest
Age: Ladies never tell
Occupation: Artists, actors, analysts, from public relations to international relations - we are all bloggers
Good quotes from date:
Me: "I hope I don't drop a kettleball on my toe." (The class is taken barefoot, better to balance)
Why is SHE still single?
Some of us are single, some of us are not, some of us are married
Did SHE pay for the date?
Did SHE contact you after the date? Yes, and hopefully we'll all catch up in a month
How many dates did you go on? 1 so far
Would you recommend to a friend? If you are a blogger in NYC, yes!
Dear potato cheesy pancake, scrambled eggs with chives, smoked salmon and salad, You tasted so good.
Workout with kettleballs+ Sweat (a lot) + Meet new lady bloggers + Share stories of blogging, living, dating, marriage and friendship + Eat everything on this plate with a side of two coffees and two mimosas = A good Saturday afternoon.
Many thanks to Keelie who organizes these monthly "dates" that include a work out and then a meal. I can't walk up or down stairs today. I blame you! But in a good way.
